St John’s is governed by Session (a group made up of our Minister and Elders), who meet monthly to discuss the spiritual and community welfare of our Church.

We are also supported by Council, who are responsible for much of the day-to-day administrative business of the Church. Council is made up of the convenors of the Church Committees, a Session representative (usually the Session Clerk), and the Minister.

Session Clerk Mary Gibbs and Council chair Pamela Cohen are holding an informal gathering on Sunday 25 July to update interested members on recent Session and Council activities and deliberations, and answer any questions. We'll meet in the MacKenzie Room after the usual morning tea, finishing by 12.15 pm. All are welcome.
