Weekly Bulletin: Staying connected as a church -16 July 2023

Kia ora St John’s whānau,

It is currently school holidays, and maybe some of us might be able to relate to the story of two stroppy young people in the Bible: Esau and Jacob.

This Sunday we will hear about the challenging behaviour of these brothers, and seek wisdom from God (and perhaps patience!)

For our young people there will be a combined holiday programme, starting part-way through the service.

If you can’t gather in the city, and you want to join the worship service via Zoom, here are the details to access the live-stream:

Registration will close on Monday 17th July and you will then receive an email with the address of the house where you will go to take part.

PHOTOS FROM OUR ALL AGE WORSHIP

As part of making connections with Matariki, we stuck to the cross our expressions of taonga (treasure) at St Johns.

The way of Christ is perfect; we can always trust that walking with our Saviour is good for us.
