St John’s in the City is exploring leadership options for coordinating ministry with young people. This involves teams of volunteers, fostering a culture that is relevant, fun, builds positive relationships and results in a growth in faith and numbers participating.

Our VISION STATEMENT for ministry with young people is “Enjoying faith formation with young people in an intergenerational community, equipping them for a lifetime of discipleship and encouraging them to worship, grow, live, and share as children of God.”

St John’s in the City is an accredited Whanau-Friendly Church with a long commitment to resourcing ministry with young people who are integrated as part of a genuine intergenerational community.

Our Ministry Team works closely and collaboratively across the generations to serve our vision, and to equip others in contributing to the shared vision. The Christian Education Committee is exploring options.
