St John’s in the City is seeking passionate leadership for coordinating ministry with young people. This involves teams of volunteers, fostering a culture that is relevant, fun, building positive relationships and resulting in a growth in faith and numbers participating.
Our VISION STATEMENT for ministry with young people is “Enjoying faith formation with young people in an intergenerational community, equipping them for a lifetime of discipleship and encouraging them to worship, grow, live, and share as children of God.”
St John’s in the City is an accredited Whanau-Friendly Church with a long commitment to ministry with young people who are integrated as part of a genuine intergenerational community.
Our Ministry Team works closely and collaboratively across the generations to serve our vision, and to equip others in contributing to the shared vision.
This half-time permanent position is for 18.75 hours per week with flexibility when the hours are worked. This role includes our gathered time as a Church community on Sunday mornings.
