Weekly Bulletin: Staying connected as a Church - 19th December 2021
Kia ora St John’s whānau,
This Sunday is the last Sunday of Advent before Christmas, and we are worshipping this Sunday with a special Carol Service at 10am. Young people will have a combined Peer Group time, going out part-way through the service.
There are also services on Christmas Eve (6pm), Christmas Day (10am) and Boxing Day (10am). There are no Peer Group times on these days; they will start again in February 2022.
Wellington is under covid protection framework at colour ‘Orange’. This means we have no limit on the numbers that can gather at St John’s in the City for worship.
Scan, Mask, Vaccine Pass
Everyone will need to show a ‘My Vaccine Pass’ to attend. Children under the age of 12 years and 3 months, or those who have an exemption can be admitted without a ‘My Vaccine Pass’.
Please be patient and kind as you enter church on Sunday (perhaps choose to arrive early!) as we learn how to manage these entry requirements.
As well as showing your ‘My Vaccine Pass’ please also follow the usual public health guidelines:
stay home if you’re unwell
scan using the NZ Covid Tracer app (or record contact details manually)
wear face coverings
give others outside of your ‘household bubble’ physical space (move along the pews)
For more details of what we are doing and why under this new covid protect framework, please see the website ‘Special Announcement’
We are doing this together, and so please let someone know if you want support. We can help practically, spiritually and pastorally.
